Wendy L. Dwyer

Wendy L. Dwyer of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at home. She was 73 years old.

Born in Trenton, NJ; She was raised in Avenel and resided in Howell; before moving to Lake Ariel 21 years ago.

She was a 1969 Graduate of Woodbridge High School.

Mrs. Dwyer was employed as a Bookkeeper with Doctor Ronald Runbinstein in Neptune and the as a Medical Biller for Geisinger Medical Center in Moscow, Pennsylvania for 13 years retiring in 2017.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Geraldine Fountain Nemcick; her sister Cindy Sigmund.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years William Dwyer; her sons William Dwyer of Lake Ariel and Brad Dwyer of Scranton; her sister Lori Marchak of Howell; her brother John Michael Nemcick of Toms River; her brother-in-law Ron Dwyer and his wife Sharon of Howell, NJ; 5 Grandchildren Ellen, Emma, Will, Jon, and Izzy.

Funeral will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025 9:00 am from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A 9:45 am Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrews R.C. Church, Avenel.

Interment will be in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.

Visiting hours will be Thursday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
