William S. Every

William S. Every, 83, of Newfoundland, passed away Friday, August 22nd at Dunmore Health Care Center following an illness. His wife is the former Vickie Lee Swisher.

Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Stanley and Hazel Hadley - Every. Prior to retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator for Paul Vitalies Construction in Auburn, NY, and Mike Altimes Construction in Stroudsburg.

Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, and horse racing.

Surviving are his daughters Diana Every of Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Deborah Kneeland and her companion David Pettit of Carthage, NY, and Donna Every of Auburn, NY; a son David Every and his wife Ginger of Lexington, KY; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Viola and Heide; a brother Frank.

Private cremation took place at the Lake Region Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenice of the family.
