William L. Lamberton

William L. Lamberton, Lake Ariel, died Saturday morning in the home he was born in after being stricken ill.  His wife of 70 years is the former Helen M. Horst.

Born 1923 in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late Marshall and Lovella Fuller Lamberton.   Prior to his retirement he had been employed by Penn DOT as a dispatcher.   Bill also was a lifelong farmer, farming the same land his whole life that still remains in his family.

Also surviving are his daughter Gail Dolph; sons Randy and Rodger and his wife Debbie all of Lake Ariel;  a daughter in law Janine;  twelve grandchildren;  twenty eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Gary; his son in law Carl Dolph; his eleven siblings.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd Lake Ariel.

Interment and services will be private at the convenience of the family in the East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan.
