William G. Lane

William G. Lane, Lake Ariel, died April 13th at the Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness.   His widow is the former Virginia Young Lane.  The couple were married 50 years on October 17, 2014.

Born in Kearney, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Earl and Madeline Wright.   He had been employed by TRL Trucking as a truck driver.

Also surviving are Tami Lane and companion Keith Kelsey of Owego, NY; Linda Lane of Lake Ariel;  and a sister Patricia Spampanato, FL. He has three grandchildren:  Debbie Lamberton of Waymart, Cody Lamberton of Lake Ariel and Allurah Lane of Owego, NY.

He was preceded in death by sons Michael and Andrew Lane.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory of the James Wilson Funeral Home.

There will be no public services.
