William Raymond Newingham

William Raymond Newingham, 74 years, passed away Saturday Morning January 14, 2023. Bill was born July 21, 1948, in Braddock, Pennsylvania to Albert W and Ruth E (Snider) Newingham, the 8th child of 11 children.

Bill served 23 years in the United States Army retiring in 1989. His multiple overseas assignments were to Korea, Hawaii and Europe where he experienced a vast array of different cultures as well as cuisines. Bill loved his Country and appreciated each assignment he received which always gave him the opportunity to go fishing.

Bill is survived by his two children, Chase (Aurora) and Summer (Paul), his grandchildren, Austin, Brittany, Mercedez, Vanessa and Analee as well as his great-grandchild, RJ; brothers Joseph, Buddy and Roy and sister Diane. Bill is pre-deceased by his parents, sisters Trixie, Mary and Clara, and brothers Jim, Wilbur and Arthur.

Private cremation took place at the Lake Region Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home.
