William Robert Secara

William Robert Secara, Elmhurst Twp., PA passed away Sunday morning at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after an illness.  His wife is the former Robin Piesecki.

Born in North Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Basil “Wash” and Margaret (Slivka) Secara.  He was a 1973 graduate of Catasauqua High School.  He earned an Associate Degree in criminal justice from Lehigh Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Kentucky University.  Prior to his illness, he was employed by the United States Secret Service.  He was a member of Salem Lodge 330 Free and Accepted Masons, Hamlin.

Also surviving are his children: Atty. Nicholas Secara and his wife Stephanie Shui of New York, NY; Regina Secara of Yonkers, NY; and Matthew Ballard of Springfield, MO; his sister Diane Secara of N. Catasauqua; and an abundance of friends.

Friends may call Thursday from 2-6pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd., Lake Ariel.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
