William F. Sheerer

William F. Sheerer of Jermyn, died December 21, 2014 at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Wilmer F. and Esther May Meyers Sheerer. He loved fishing, partying with friends, watching old classic movies, and listening to old country music.

Surviving are a sister Margaret Saar of Moscow; brothers Alfred Sheerer of Moscow, George Sheerer of Waymart, and Paul Knecht of Rockingham, NC; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Meyers

A Memorial Service will be Monday at 7:00pm in the Cortez United Methodist Church 967 Cortez Road. Jefferson Twp, Pa 18436.

Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home.
