Wilma M. Wittenbrader Black

Wilma M. Wittenbrader of Jefferson Twp., died Monday morning at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville following an illness. Her husband is John “Butch” Wittenbrader.

Born in Jefferson Twp., daughter of the late Leslie and Emma Gromlich Black, she attended school in Jefferson Twp. and graduated from the Lake Consolidated School, and had been employed at the Comfort Inn and Daniels Family Resort.

Also surviving are children Lois Laudig and her husband Tom of Lake Ariel, John Butler and his wife Lisa of Lake Ariel, Mike Butler and his companion Beth Lombardi of Waymart, Kathy Metschulat and her husband Art of Lake Ariel, and Denise Rose and her husband Carl of Lake Ariel; a brother Doug Black and his wife Marge of Lake Ariel; a sister-in-law June Black; brothers-in-law Paul Jones and Robert Shaffer; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Alby, Herb, Robert Black, Wilhemina Black, Joan Jones and Barbara Shaffer.

Private graveside services will be held in the Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
