Wolfgang D. Brunken

Wolfgang D Brunken, longtime resident of Honesdale, passed away after a long battle with cancer at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale on Aug 31, 2023.

Wolfgang was born in Oldenburg, Germany on Sept 10,1949, he was the son of late Gustav and Frieda Brunken. He arrived in the US in Feb 1955, with his family. He enjoyed walking in and around the area of Honesdale Central Park.

He is survived by his brother Manfred Brunken of Stafford Va, his nephews David Cook, Ian Brunken, and niece Joanna Brunken.

He was predeceased by his wife Ericka Marie Peck Brunken on Aug 25, 2002.

Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
